The monitor projects and image and the controller powers on. We were able to control the speed of the spindle with the spindle speed knob. Please note that the black top cover of the engraver cracked along the back edge and now does not sit securely on top of the engraver. New Hermes Bowling Ball Engraver This is a pantograph engraving machine that was originally built and sold to engrave bowling balls. The engraver is working and it uses a rotary cutting tool head that would be capable of cutting soft metals and perhaps harder metal too if time and care was taken when doing the engraving. The pantograph arms allow for a very wide range of font sizes and the engraving unit has a tremendous amount of working space on all three directions X.

Y, and Z The work holding table is very heavy cast metal and I am including all the clamps and other tools I have for this engraver. The dovetails on the clamping surfice allow for direct clamping of work but the table is plenty big for a clamping I also have a large assortment of various HSS and other cutting tools. Many of these tools are not shown in the photos but they are included. I bought this unit originally to do metal engraving for gunsmith work but I never ended up getting into this line of work so it is time for me to sell some tools.
