Dark profecy game

Ten years after the prophecy, the state of the Empire has sunken into strife, plague, famine. To make matters worse, the king lost his consort and only son during the Great Wars, a time which marked the breaking apart of the Empire itself. He now hosts himself only to the Empire's greatest pity party, sitting as a recluse atop the highest tower of his castle.

The Mountain Clans have become radically separatist, even by Dwarven standards. After being told of an ominous dream by Memnor, the oldest and wisest of the Dwarves, and that their salvation depended on interpreting the ancient runes, they sent an expedition to research the runes.

Upon their return, they discovered, to their horror, that the goddess Mortis had marched upon the Dwarven Mountain Clans, unleashing destruction of their land and killing their king. Under those circumstances, it's hard to blame them for retreating to an underground city.

The Legions of the Damned belong to a once beautiful angel named Bethrezen, a Lucifer-like figure who was allowed to create Nevendaar, but ended up mismanaging it. For his punishment, he was locked up by the High Father and the Legions of the Damned were imprisoned in their mountain temple. However, the Legions have broken out and are about to free their fallen angelic leader. To understand the Undead Hordes, you have to know something of the tragic tale of the life of the goddess, Mortis.

Formerly, a goddess of life, she was transformed into a vengeful killer after Wotan, the god of the Mountain Clans transformed himself into a wolf and literally tore the heart out of Mortis' beloved husband, Gallean.

The hideous army she raised to carry out her wrath upon the Mountain Clans carries the name, the Undead Hordes. She and her horrific legions only backed off after wreaking massive destruction upon the the Mountain Clans.

The Quest and Saga are the two forms of gameplay. The Quest is a standalone adventure; the Saga comprises a series of linked Quests. Before beginning your world conquest, you select a race that suits you. I chose to start out as the Empire race because I can relate to humans and jumped at the opportunity to destroy evil forces. Next you select from one of three Lords: Warrior, Mage, or Guildmaster. Choose a Lord with strengths that match your long term strategy: combat Warrior , spell casting Mage , or thievery Guildmaster.

Regardless of which race or lord you choose, you'll encounter a diverse multitude of enemies as you complete your objectives. You're liable to cross paths with White Wizards, Druidesses, Gargoyles , Dreadwyrms or others of the thirty or so units that comprise each race.

But there are many levels, and historically these games are long and we are told there are eighty more levels in the CE. That is the only reason I got it. There are sweet fairytale wallpapers 7 , 4 bio's on the characters, 5 music choices and achievements that you get just for playing really There are 8 decks to choose from, and as in other games, as you earn coins you can shop for bonuses, or buy wild cards lucky dip..

Its a lovely game and my main admiration is just how clear the cards are on the screen you can scan and see the numbers always. If you have the others.. I think this game will delight in either the CE or SE format, just up to personal choice.

Enjoy Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by biomix from awesome game I have been with BigFish games since they first started. I usually hate them. This game has it ALL! So many bonuses. So colourful. And you get to build a city. I love the challenge of this game. I could not resist. It's a gem! Rated 5 out of 5 by twtscat48 from Another Dreamland hit!

I have other games in this series and I have liked them all. I feel this is the best of the series. I like being able to build a village, and the graphics are great, very colorful. I bought this game and recommend it highly. They added more obstacles like string and ice. You also have the spider, fire and branches to cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tree from I liked this game! I didn't download and play this game when it was first available because the last Dreamland wasn't all that entertaining. Well, it was fine, but I thought it was just fine and I do love dragons! My only critique is that the Fairy seems a wee bit 'obtuse' to the reality of what is going on If you like Solitaire with a decent challenge then please give this one a try and a buy!

How could he let his Dwarves commit such senseless killing? Solonielle was severely burned, but she had succeeded. However, it was not enough. Gallean twisted and screamed in pain, but would not wake. No longer was she a keeper of the Elves, she had become Mortis — the fleshless goddess. She began to slaughter whole cities and resurrect them for her undead army. Her first act was to hunt and slay the Dwarven king, for Wotan surely deserved to suffer.

But this was not enough…she needed Gallean by her side. Together, they would make all of Nevendaar answer for their pain. A chance to heal him soon came in the form of a human child tainted by demonic corruption — Uther. The blood had given him back his handsome form as well as his noble spirit. He looked upon poor Mortis, his lost lover, and felt pity. She had become a beast; little remained of the soul he once loved.

Gallean left Mortis. The godless Elves rejoiced at the return of their father. Mortis would not allow it. His wrath manifested as a corruption of nature itself and it destroyed many people of all races. For but a moment, Gallean had felt the hatred that had corrupted his wife. Appalled at his own actions, he retreated into isolation, as did the Elves…. These four decks consisted of cards and represented each of the original four races of Nevendaar featured in Disciples II: Dark Prophecy.

Edit source History Talk 1. Another flashback of Apollo's is triggered, he was sitting with Commodus in a tent during his father's military campaign. They talk about how he just wants to have fun fighting in the Colosseum instead of having so many duties until a Centurion informs him about the death of his father, Marcus Aurelius.

Calypso snaps him out of it, Apollo still has feelings for Commodus. Apollo and Calypso manage to hold off Germani using poor archery and fake magic. But then they encounter Lit, only to be saved by Meg McCaffrey.

Meg still believes Nero but she helps Apollo anyway. They escape on the train and find a lot of captive animals near a training facility, including Abelard and Heloise. Other animals included ostriches dressed in armor-like clothes, Commodus trained them for combat. Heloise has an egg, Apollo and Calypso hum a lullaby that his parents used to sing to him and Artemis on Delos. But then Lityerses arrives, he reveals that when he and his father worked for Gaea , Midas got killed during his encounter with Leo Valdez but he managed to escape after being turned into a golden statue, now he works for the Triumvirate.

Hearing Apollo mentioning how he gave his father donkey's ears only makes him angrier, but Calypso miraculously uses magic to make the whole place blow up so they can escape on the Griffins. After returning to the Waystation, Britomartis tells him of the main gate to Commodus' palace underneath the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument , they have to use the waterworks plumbing to get in otherwise they'd run into a death trap.

They need to free the captives in the palace and find the Throne of Mnemosyne to cure Georgina. Apollo then passes out and has a flashback dream where he pretended to be Commodus' trainer, Narcissus and drowned the emperor under everyone else's demand. When he wakes, he plays music for Heloise who laid her egg. Apollo takes Meg and Leo to the sewers where Commodus resides. On the way, Meg reveals that the third emperor is someone even Nero is afraid of, that's why Commodus is in between them, Nero also took Peaches away.

Near the only entrance, they are attacked by the Carthaginian Serpent , but they managed to defeat it and enter the palace. During the battle, Apollo has a burst of power, he concludes his godly powers will come to him only when he needs it the most like at the Camp Half-Blood Forest. Deep in the sewers, they overhear Lityerses telling Commodus that they found the Waystation, they will have the rehearsal for tomorrow's naming ceremony now.

Commodus plans to have the Waystation taken out before the real ceremony, the Cave of Prophecy is guarded.

Meg used chia sprouts to guide the way, they encountered another blemmyae, even though they are overly polite they are very strong, but Leo and Meg kill him. Apollo attempts to tell the earpiece the blemmyae had that this was a false alarm before crushing it. The metal vault door the blemmyae was guarding contained a jail, they freed a hunter named Hunter Kowalski , a friendly Scythian Dracaena named Sssssarah , a Yoruba demigod named Olujime AKA Jamie and a scared Georgina who was sitting on Festus as a suitcase.

Meg saw her pain recalling Nero's own abuse on her, they need the Throne of Memory to cure her. The alarms blared, Leo led the group back the way they came while Meg and Apollo look for the throne.

Meg sensed it behind a steel door, Apollo uses oil of vitriol and other chemicals from the palace infirmary to melt it.

The throne looked nothing more than a white chair.
